Bakersfield Multirotor (BMR) in not just about Aerial Photography but some in the group are and are here to help. If you are interested in making videos or taking photographs from a MultiRotor, you came the right place. We will list all the basic information so you know what is expected and what you may learn Your first step is to Join the Aerial Photography FREE Facebook group at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/BakersfieldMultirotor/    Basic Requirements to Join the Bakersfield MultiRotor Aerial Photography at an Event / Meetup; 1. All Participants may be required to be a full AMA Member and is recommended depending on location. 2. All Participants will be required to sign and hand in this Waiver and Release form. 3. All Participants shall read, follow, and understand all AMA Safety Instructions. 1. This includes AMA Members and Non-members 4. All Participants shall list their FAA Registration # & AMA Member Number on their craft. 5. All Participants shall read, follow, and understand all FAA Rules 6. All Participants shall read, follow, and understand the Know Before You Fly website 7. At no time shall a Participants fly commercially unless fully approved by the FAA 8. All Participants shall read, follow, and understand all that is listed under the Disclaimer page.   

Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA)

Bakersfield Multirotor recommends all flyer’s should be an AMA Member. As the AMA offers insurance, and Bakersfield Multirotor does all it can to follow the AMA safety rules, BMR can not guarantee you will be covered by AMA insurance at any Event or Meetup. (See Disclaimer) Some Events and Meetup may require that you are an active AMA member so please be aware and read all event and Meetup information to verify if it is a requirement before you arrive to each event. If you like to fly RC, it’s recommended you join the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA). This will not only help support this fantastic hobby you will also receive every benefit from personal insurance (per their rules) to a great magazine subscription per your benefits you select. All flyer’s will hold harmless all organizers, event host, and/or other members and attendees from any actions of others.
